Kanuk’s stitches will last, and Kanuk will repair any stitches that have weakened due to normal or abusive use.

ONE YEAR GUARANTEE AGAINST ALL IMPERFECTIONS

All of the materials used to make your Kanuk: snaps, zippers, velcro strips, adjustable buckles, fabrics and insulation materials are guaranteed for one year against all fabrication faults.

IMPERMEABILITY GUARANTEED FOR ONE YEAR

Kanuk's sealed and waterproof parkas (see Kanuk catalog) are guaranteed to be waterproof for one year from the date of purchase.

REPAIRS

IS YOUR KANUK IN NEED OF REPAIR?

If the repair is covered by the Kanuk warranty, we’ll mend the defective article in our factory at no charge. Julie Brisson and her colleagues, all experienced Kanuk seamstresses, will take the same meticulous care altering your Kanuk garment as they took making it.

Does your Kanuk need a repair that is not covered by the Kanuk warranty? Regardless of when the item was purchased, Kanuk offers a repair service that will prolong the life span of your Kanuk at a very reasonable price. Repairs are done by our seamstresses using the same sewing machines, thread and lockstitch seams that are used throughout Kanuk’s factory.

Bring your clean garment (have your coat freshly washed):

  • In person, to Kanuk’s factory-store
  • Or box it and send it, together with your address, daytime and evening telephone numbers, e-mail address, a description of the work required and a photocopy of your receipt, to the following address:

ALTERATIONS

Do you find the sleeves on your new Kanuk a little too long and you’d like to have them shortened?

For a modest additional charge, this alteration can be done on-site in our factory.

Stop by the Kanuk factory-store, and Audrey or Julie will take the required measurements. One of her Kanuk's experienced seamstresses will take the same meticulous care altering your Kanuk at our factory as they took producing it. Alterations are done using the same sewing machines, thread and lockstitch seams that are used throughout Kanuk’s factory.

We’ll call you as soon as your coat is ready. You can pick it up personally, or we’ll be pleased to mail it (postal charges applied).
